Ex-Japanese adult film star Maria Ozawa is angry that an Immigration officer posted her personal details online

Former Japanese porn star Maria Ozawa may be regretting her decision to stay in the Philippines for good after her personal details ended up on the interwebz thanks to a security breach by an alleged Bureau of Immigration employee.

The 30-year-old actress, who co-owns the Singles Bar at Remington Hotel in Resorts World Manila, was raging mad on Facebook on Wed, Sep 14, after she discovered that a photo of her passport, together with her Alien Certificate of Registration I-Card, an identification card issued to foreigners living in the Philippines, was posted online by a certain Armee Camzon (who describes herself on FB as “a dreamer” and a big-picture thinker”) with the caption, “I bet you know this girl.”

“I don’t know if I should be mad or sad,” said Maria, adding that a it was a friend who informed her that “my privacy might be going viral.”

“This is very wrong. Immigration is a place where people TRUST and give their private accounts, details and look what she’s done to my privacy,” she ranted.

“I LOVE this country and I’m doing my VERY best to stay here for good but how can I stay here for good when people like this really exist? How I’m supposed to trust people? If this was just someone I knew or some random people posting it for fun I can understand. They are just being bastos (rude). But people who actually work in the Immigration doing stuff like this? I just cannot believe it.”

The front part of the ACR I-Card contains details of the holder such as citizenship as well as date and place of birth.

According to GMA News Online, the Bureau of Immigration is now looking into Maria’s allegation.

“The BI personnel section was tasked to confirm whether the person who holds the account is one among BI’s almost 2,000 employees,” Bureau of Immigration spokesperson Ma. Antonette Mangrobang told GMA News Online. “We assure the public that such case is isolated and the right to privacy of BI’s clients is our paramount concern.”
