2016 was pretty big year for Mocha Uson (real name Margaux Uson). She became a newspaper columnist, MMFF Ambassadress, and the unofficial “boses ng ordinaryong Pilipino(voice of the ordinary Filipino).”

Ah well, the founding member of the adult-themed, all female group Mocha Girls is really something else.

Malacañang on Thurs confirmed reports of Uson’s appointment as a member of the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB), much to the dismay of some of her colleagues in the showbiz industry.

Here are some of the notable celeb reactions to the recent addition to Mocha’s resume. 

1. John Lapus was NOT happy, and he made that clear in this tweet. 

2. Mo Twister shares the same opinion.

 
3. Ethel Booba, of course, still managed to make a joke (charot!)

4. Mocha has believers too — like comedian Arnell Ignacio, who was also given a position in the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (Pagcor). 

6. And there’s also Tito Sotto, who called Mocha a “good choice” for MTRCB.

7. As communications secretary Martin Andanar explained, Mocha is “very influential.”

So you think she’ll do a good job? We’ll find out. Her appointment is expected to last until Sept 2017.
