Actor Epy Quizon is defending singer-actress Zsa Zsa Padilla against bashers who just can’t stop criticizing her and her relationship with architect Conrad Onglao.
Zsa Zsa is the long-time partner of Comedy King Dolphy, who died in 2012.
“Namatayan na nga yung tao, pabayaan na lang ninyong maging masaya… For the bashers, I know nasaktan siguro sila dahil parang, siguro para sa kanila, it’s too soon and all that. Pero sa akin, bakit naman kami, hindi naman kami nasasaktan?” Epy said during the press conference of the upcoming biopic, Heneral Luna.
“And who am I to stop her for being happy? Who are we to stop them from being happy? Pag-ibig yun, e. Mahirap kontrahin ang pag-ibig. Sana man lang, kung nagbobolahan lang sila, e di kontrahin natin nang konti. Nagmamahalan e,” Epy added.
Epy also said he is happy for Zsa Zsa and even assured fans that his father would also want the same thing for her, “Of course, my father would have agreed also for her to be happy in this lifetime,” Epy shared.
Zsa Zsa is set to marry Conrad in 2016. They are planning to tie the knot in Italy next year.
“He’s [Conrad] very well-educated… Alam niya kung paano humarap sa tao. Basta, marunong humarap sa tao, marunong din kaming humarap sa tao. And you know he loves Zsa Zsa,” Epy told the media.

“Kung iimbitahan ako, oo,” he said.
