He may have issued his apologies, but the talk is far from over.
After being involved in a controversy on a flight to London, Enrique Gil wants bashers from all cylinders to stop.
The matinee idol has since apologized for the incident, but some people online just can’t stop talking about it.
“Tama na po [ang pagba-bash]. ‘Yung mga tao, hindi talaga nila alam ang story. Ang daming write-ups na lumalabas that really add to what really happened that night. They don’t really know. Para sa akin, tama na. Tapos na,” Quen told ABS-CBN News during the red carpet event of the 9th Star Magic Ball.
How is he getting along with other Kapamilya stars now? “Okay po. I’m good with everybody,” he insists.
Enrique reportedly roughed up the Kapamilya stars onboard a London flight about two weeks ago, namely Liza Soberano, Jessy Mendiola and Luis Manzano. Jake Cuenca and Paulo Avelino’s names were also dragged in the incident.
Enrique supposedly harrassed Liza first, then turned his attention to Jessy, prompting Luis to step in and try to stop the commotion.
When it got out, things got so bad online, Jessy’s mom started answering Jessy’s bashers on Instagram herself, saying she will file a case against Enrique if the malicious comments on Jessy’s page do not stop.
On Friday, Enrique said sorry to his his “brothers and sisters in Star Magic,” especially Jessy and her boyfriend, JM de Guzman.
“I had some drinks in the plane more than I should be having. As a result, things got out of hand. Dahil po doon, I want to apologize to my brothers and sisters in Star Magic. I sincerely apologize to Jessy, to JM if ever I offended them in any way. I’m sorry,” he told the media.
