ENOUGH: Anne Curtis and other non-singers singing

Anne Curtis is at it again. Somebody let her have the microphone and gave her the permission to not just sing a song, but belt a very challenging tune. Yesterday, the gorgeous actress decided to sing (murder) the Regine Velasquez hit song “Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw” in “ASAP.”

Sana po sa huling linggo ng ‘Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw,’ pagbigyan nyo ho akong kantahin ang kantang ito. Bawal pong kumontra ngayong araw na’to. Sir Homer, let’s do this.”

Sure, it’s cute when a non-singer (especially a very pretty one like Anne) tries to sing, complete with moments when she fails to hit the note or when her voice cracks, but some of us can only endure approximately two seconds of this. It gets pretty tired after that, especially if done on a regular basis.

The thing is that while there are those who cannot endure such “performances,” there are those that do – and actually enjoy them and clamor for more. This is why Anne murders different songs on a regular basis in “ASAP.”

Come to think of it, her numbers are pretty entertaining – if you’re definition of being entertained is giggling and then rolling your eyeballs and then coming up with a disgusted face.

Let us know what you think of Anne’s goosebumps-inducing number.

We’re not a big fan. Except for the “baby” part in the end.
