You know the urban legend about a snake man being the twin of Robina Gokongwei-Pe, the president and CEO of Robinsons Retail Holdings, Inc.?
A variation of the story is one of the tales in the 15th installment of Shake, Rattle & Roll (SRR), which is once again one of the entries in the annual Metro Manila Film Festival. However, story turned the snake man into a snake woman, who will be played by Erich Gonzales.
Well, perhaps, to finally embrace the urban legend that once made Robinsons Galleria the talk of the town, Robinsons Department Store is actually giving away a free snake toy for a minimum PHP2,000 single-receipt purchase in all branches nationwide from Dec 23 to Dec 25. That’s what Cosmo.ph reported.
By the way, in case you didn’t know, the snake man, whose name is Robinson (naturally!), was allegedly enamored with actress Alice Dixson. He was said to like pretty girls, whom he would take to his den via a trap door in the dressing rooms.
But we digress. Obviously, that story is not true. Unless, of course, Alice Dixson says otherwise.
