Now we’ve got no excuse.

Popular food blogger and restaurant owner Erwan Heussaff published a healthy meal plan that won’t empty our bank accounts.

He was out to prove a point.

Last month, one of Erwan’s Twitter followers challenged him to create a healthy menu for one week with a budget of only PHP150 pesos a day.

Good guy Erwan delivered and did middle-class urbanites around the country great service.

He emphasized that “nothing is impossible” and that “people should stop making excuses for themselves.”

For some of Erwan’s followers, eating healthy turned into a money issue. Erwan said he’s been bashed and criticized simply for telling people that they could do it.

“People called me elitist and classist for saying that everyone can do it. I find that very weird. If you are anti-elitism, shouldn’t you believe that anyone can achieve anything? Again, yes it may be harder for certain people, but it’s not impossible. I don’t think that someone’s disposition should determine what they can and can’t do,” he wrote.

He added that eating healthy isn’t expensive, but it isn’t convenient either.

We took a peek at the menu, and to be honest, it doesn’t look fun at all. But that’s the price to pay for a six-pack, right?

The items include bananas, chicken breasts, sweet potato, oatmeal and loads of pineapple. According to Erwan, the diet needs to be followed for 90 days to see the complete effect.

Erwan emphasized that everything was based on his own experience. He used to be a “fat kid” who eventually switched to a healthy lifestyle.

He shared the excel file here (because excel files mean serious business.)

Let us know what happens if you try it.
