It’s no secret that Donita Rose is no longer with her husband of 12 years. Now, the TV host-actress is telling us more about what caused the marriage to fall apart.
In an interview on the Good Times With Mo Twister podcast last week, Donita revealed that “character flaws” and “character issues” caused the separation, PEP.PH reports.
“The picture that I paint in my mind of what’s supposed to be perfect and a great relationship would never happen because of the character flaws and character issues,” Donita said.
“Even if I had done things differently, this person would have left me anyway because it’s character issue,” Donita added.
She was giving a piece of advice to a male caller who was having relationship troubles.

It may be recalled that Donita confirmed her separation with her husband earlier this year, after he posted a photo with a different woman.
She said that the experience was “devastating.”
Donita added the separation wasn’t entirely her husband’s fault.
“I’m just saying that we paint this picture on our mind of a relationship is supposed to be like and sometimes we immortalize the person and we can’t seem to let go,” Donita said.
“Don’t look back anymore. Burn the pictures,” she added.
