Divine Lee and Victor Basa are, too.
In a reply to an Instagram follower, Divine explained that she couldn’t “help but be honest” but that they couldn’t give a concrete answer because they “are trying to grow and figure out things.” This is why the two have been spending more time with friends instead of each other.
At the Saucony event last night, for example, Divine was with chef Jeremy Favia. People think he is her new boyfriend but she clarifies that he is just her best friend.
“I guess, we made ourselves an island,” she said. “So, it’s about time to grow again with other people, friends and do new things, so we have more to add to our relationships. All relationships go through a stage like this, I guess, di ba?”
Divine confirmed it by telling Nikko Tuazon of Pep.ph: “We’re going through a rough patch. Okay pa naman kami, we talk. I guess, I mean, all couples naman go through challenges, di ba? I hope we come out better and stronger people.”
