According to a a certification issued by the Taguig Police Community Precinct 7, brothers Wilmer Paolo and Wilmer Angelo Lopez accused actor Diego Loyzaga and his companions of mauling them around 4:30am last Sun, Mar 13, outside the Palace Pool Club in Bonifacio Global City.

The police also showed the a medico legal report from the Taguig Pateros District Hospital, which indicated that the Lopez brothers sustained multiple physical injuries.
Loyzaga is the son of actor Cesar Montano and actress Teresa Loyzaga.
“A witness who asked not to be identified for security reasons said the incident started when Loyzaga, who appeared to be drunk, hugged the girlfriend of one of the brothers. The witness added that the brothers did not pick a fight but asked the actor not to do it again. However, when Paolo went to the restroom, Loyzaga followed him and punched him twice, prompting security personnel to kick the pair out of the establishment,” reports Maricar B. Brizuela in Philippine Daily Inquirer.
The violent encounter didn’t end there.
The witness said that “outside the club, Loyzaga and some of his companions ganged up on the Lopezes before escaping.”
The report noted: “The Inquirer tried to contact ABS-CBN’s Star Magic which handles Loyzaga’s show biz career but the company said it would first talk to the actor before commenting on the issue.” However, the ABS-CBN News late-night show, Bandila, already aired a report on the incident on Mon, Mar 14.
