In an Instagram post on Wed, Jan 4, MMFF executive committee member Noel Ferrer reiterated that they were aiming to beat the box office returns of the 2015 edition of the film fest (which reportedly earned more than P1 billion).
(We know there will be chance and that includes the democratization of the earnings of the MMFF. That means, instead of only big companies earning majority of the earnings, smaller producers are now earning too.)
In an Instagram post, Star Cinema says Vince & Kath & James has earned P100 million as of Tue, Jan 3, the official end of the 2016 MMFF.
