Seemingly taking cue from the success of the Museum of Ice Cream in the U.S., the Philippines will soon have its own museum filled with treats ready to feed your sweet tooth and populate your Instagram feed.

The Dessert Museum in the Mall of Asia Complex, which is set to open on Feb. 10, is an interactive museum with eight rooms that feature different kinds of food displays like giant gummi bears, chocolate fountains, and a sprinkle slide.

“There are only two things on the menu – sugar and selfies,” the museum’s website says.

Unlike other museums, you are encouraged to play around with the displays and literally eat your way around the rooms. There will be cotton candy, donuts, and chocolate covered marshmallows for you to munch on.

You can also take pictures, lots and lots of them. Just look at these ones on their Instagram account.

You all haven’t seen half of the museum yet. 😉 #thedessertmuseum

To keep you from feeling like you’re indulging too much, the rooms will also have informative facts about the dessert they feature.

According to The Dessert Museum’s Sarah Vibar, they’re already fully booked on Feb. 10 and Feb. 11, but the good news is that it’ll be open throughout the year.

Right now, their online rate for tickets is PHP699 (US$13.70), while walk-ins cost PHP799 (US$15.67). This includes a 2-hour tour and free desserts. You can also get a discounted rate if you plan to go with a group of 30 and up — maybe for your next birthday party?
