FHM’s Sexiest Woman of 2015 Jennylyn Mercado was made to choose who is her favorite leading man so far.
Jennylyn was quick to answer: Derek Ramsay, who played her leading man in the 2014 box-office hit English Only, Please.
She told reporters about their good relationship as friends and why it is a huge factor when it comes to acting.
“Iba talaga eh, since day 1. Siguro ‘yung foundation namin, [tapos] hanggang ngayon nagkakausap pa rin kami. Iba talaga, masaya talaga ‘yung pakiramdam,” Jen said in a press conference where she also revealed they are already gearing up for English Only, Please 2 which will be shot in Barcelona.
But Jennylyn also said she was able to build strong relationships with her other co-stars, like Sam Milby with whom she will star in The Prenup, and JM de Guzman with whom she will headline Walang Forever.
“Yun nga ang secret namin eh, ‘yung magandang friendship, magandang simula. Kapag maganda ang simula niyo, dire-diretso na ‘yun. Kay Sam ganun din, maganda rin ang simula namin. Si JM fun naman din,” she said.
But how about her ex-boyfriend Dennis Trillo, who is also her co-actor in the primetime soap My Faithful Husband?
“Simple lang siya, ‘yung tahimik. Tahimik lang, pero kapag umarte na, kailangan ma-pressure ka. Parang si JM, ganun. ‘Yung kapag tumuntong siya sa set, matatakot ka kasi intimidating. Kailangan ko mag-double ng effort kasi ang gagaling nila,” Jen shared.
