The controversial personality had a phone interview with the TV5 program Showbiz Police last March 17, where hosts Raymond Gutierrez and MJ Marfori asked her about Vhong Navarro and the case.
So how is she now?
She says that she is doing better because people are slowly forgetting about the whole issue. She wants to emphasize though that she wasn’t just raped, she got robbed, too. “So sana hindi po nila nakakalimutan na kung tayo nga mawala nga lang yung cellphone natin, or madukutan nga lang yung wallet natin, parang may kulang na sa buhay natin,” she told the hosts. “Paano pa kaya kung yung lahat ng pinaghirapan mo – mga pera mo, yung mga importanteng bagay – nawala. So mahirap po para sakin yun.”
She also clarified that she doesn’t know Roxanne Cabanero, a former beauty pageant hopeful who claims Vhong Navarro also raped her.
Deniece said, “Liwanagin ko po, hindi ko po siya kilala. Hindi po ako sumali sa mga beauty pageant, iba po ang industriya ko sa industriya niya. Hindi pa po kami nakakapag-usap, nagkakaharap.”
She quickly added that she got even more inspired to face the accusations of Vhong after seeing how strong Roxanne is. She is even willing to reach out to her, given the right timing. “Sa tamang panahon, at mahirap po ang pinagdadaanan niya, at mahirap din po at masakit din po ang pinagdadaanan ko bilang babae.”
