No doubt about it now — there’s really a baby boom in showbiz this year.
Mariel Rodriguez announced that she is pregnant again during the Sat, May 21 episode of the ABS-CBN noontime show It’s Showtime.
The TV host made the annoncement with her husband Robin Padilla.

In an emotional speech following Mariel’s annoucement, Robin thanked It’s Showtime for giving his wife joy.
Mariel, 31, suffered two miscarriages last year.
“Nagsilbi po kayong milagro sa kanya sapagkat ang katotohanan po, sinabi po kay Mariel ng mga eksperto na baka hindi na po siya magkasupling. Sinabi po ‘yan sa kanya dahil sunud-sunod po siyang nakunan. Pero tunay po na nabuntis si Mariel dahil sa Showtime. Naramdaman niya po ang pag-aalaga,” Robin said, saying It’s Showtime served as a miracle for Mariel. The TV host-actress has been part of the show since December, just four months after she announced her second miscarriage.
Mariel also took to Instagram immediately after her announcement.
“Thank you showtime family!!!!!!! We are going to have a baby!!!!! I’m pregnant!!!! Pls include us in your prayers!!!!!! thaaaaaaank you,” she wrote.
