Talk about homecoming and network-switching!
Coney Reyes is back with the Kapuso Network after 22 years of being a Kapamilya. Can you believe that the 59-year-old’s last projects with GMA were way back in 1981 (Coney Reyes-Mumar on the Set) and 1982 (Student Canteen).
She clarified with Rachelle Siazon of Pep.ph that she is not exclusive to the station; in fact, the contract she signed is just for the soap Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real, where she will be playing the mother of Dingdong Dantes. Other cast members are Lovi Poe, Maricel Soriano, Celeste Legaspi, Robert Arevalo, and Jaime Fabregas. A pretty great cast, if you ask us.
We have to admit we’re pretty intrigued. This involves THE Maricel Soriano, after all.
