“On Friday, Mar 14, Claudine Barretto visited the tomb of Rico Yan, her former on-screen and real-life partner, on the occasion of the late actor’s birth anniversary,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.
Yan died of cardiac arrest due to acute hemorrhagic pancreatitis on March 29, 2002. Had he been alive, he would have been 39 years old already.
Photos of Barretto at Yan’s tomb at the Manila Memorial Park in Parañaque were posted on the “Rico Yan and Claudine Barretto” Facebook fan page. Yan’s sister, Geraldine Yan-Tueres, was also at the late actor’s tomb and even posed for a photo with Barretto (she’s in the middle of the picture).
