That Claudine Barretto interview on Buzz ng Bayan last Sunday, May 11, was really revealing.
Apart from sharing that she hates sister Marjorie the most for causing the rift between her and Gretchen, Claudine also talked about sister Gretchen, of course.
The youngest Barretto narrated that the whole fight began in 2010 when Gretchen and Marjorie went to her house. She let them in, and then was surprised to see a paediatrician, about eight men, and an ambulance with them. According to Claudine, she didn’t know why they were there; Gretchen just told the doctor, ‘Basta, doc, nag-overdose yan,’” she said.
According to Marjorie, however, in a statement she sent the show, their parents begged them to go there and save her because she finished all her anti-anxiety medicines. “We were saving your life,” said Marjorie, who asked for their parents to not deny this.
Buit going back to the Claudine-Gretchen fight, Claudine said it got worse in April and August 2013, when Gretchen and Marjorie attacked her online.
“They drew first blood and they were accusing me of so many things. I just kept quiet the whole time. They were just bullying and bullying. They did not stop. Ganito ba dapat ang ugali ng mga ate? I don’t want to be affiliated with you because you are a shame to this family. I want you to stay away from me and my children. I want to know, at the end of the day, Gretchen, ano ba ang goal mo? Up to where? When are you going to stop? You say you’re happy? I don’t see that. With your face all Botoxed and all, I don’t see that!”
