Sad news.
Sandy Andolong has confirmed on Instagram that Miguel, her son with Christopher de Leon, has been diagnosed with testicular cancer.
According to Sandy, they attended Miguel’s first chemotherapy session recently.
“He is still slightly sedated often which makes it hard for us to find the right timing to show him that we are beside him and to talk to him. But on the second day of our visit, he was a little lucid and the minute he heard my voice he reached for my hand to squeeze and I saw the most beautiful smile I’ve ever seen in him.”
She continued, “When it was my husband’s turn he was just overwhelmed to see his Tatay who kept kissing him and broke into tears with no sound but with so much relief and love not only on his part but ours as well.”
If you check Sandy’s posts on Instagram, it looks like they’re in San Francisco, although Christopher is already back in Manila to tape for his show Ikaw Lamang.
