“Senator Chiz Escudero is still not losing hope that his wife-to-be, actress Heart Evangelista, will be able to make peace with her parents, Reynaldo and Cecilia Ongpauco,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.
The actress’ legal name is Love Marie Ongpauco.
The report pointed out that “although Evangelista’s relationship with her parents has improved after months of estrangement, the couple admitted in their past interviews that they are not sure if the actress’ parents will attend their wedding.”
When asked if he thinks Evangelista’s parents will attend their big day, Escudero simply said, “I’m still hoping.”
The report noted: “Evangelista and Escudero, who is older than her by 16 years, have set their wedding on February 15 at Balesin Island Club, a day after the actress’ birthday.”
