Celebrity couple and new parents Chito Miranda and Neri Naig just brought Baby Miguel to their home after 12 days in the hospital.
Neri gave birth to their first child on Nov 23.
The Parokya ni Edgar vocalist posted an adorable photo of Miguel on Instagram:
Chito writes, “Home at last. Miguel spent his 1st 12 days sa (in the) hospital. Sobrang stressful para sa amin ni Neri pero at least naalagaan sya ng maayos. Now we’re finally home.”
(It was very stressful for me and Neri but at least he was well taken care of.)
He also shared how fatherhood has changed him since Miguel was born.
“Sabi ng mga kaibigan ko na may mga anak, iba daw talaga ang pakiramdam pag magka-anak ka na. Totally ibang level daw ng pagmamahal ang mae-experience ko. Sobrang totoo, chong. Iba pala talaga,” Chito said. “I thought I already knew what to expect pero nung tinamaan ako, na-overwhelm ako kung gaano katindi yung pagmamahal na naramdaman ko, hindi lang para sa baby namin, pero pati na rin sa asawa ko mismo. Yung solid confirmation na masasabi mo talaga sa sarili mo na handa kang ibigay lahat, pati ang buhay mo, para sa asawa mo at sa anak ninyo.“
(My friends who have kids said it’s a totally different feeling when you already have a kid. They said I’ll experience a totally different level of love. It’s so true, man… I thought I already knew what to expect but when it hit me, I was overwhelmed with how much love I felt, not just for our baby, but also for my wife. This is a solid confirmation that you can really say to yourself you’re ready to give everything, even your life, for your wife and your child.)
He adds, “Iba yung taranta at yung pag-asikaso. Wala ka talagang paki kung gaano ka kapagod or kapuyat basta comfortable yung mag-ina mo. Iba bigla yung dasal mo. Iba bigla ang priorities mo. Iba bigla yung tingin mo sa mundo. Everything else becomes trivial.”
(The panic and care is different. You really don’t care how tired you are or if you lack sleep, as long as your wife and child are comfortable. Your prayers suddenly change. Your priorities suddenly change. Suddenly the way you see the world changes. Everything else becomes trivial.)
Looks like Miguel has awesome parents.
