Cherry Pie Picache moving on 2 years after mom’s murder

Cherry Pie Picache is ready to move on, two years after the murder of her mother, Zenaida Sison.

In an interview with Marinel Cruz of the Philippine Daily Inquirer, the actress said she is willing to forgive her mom’s killer, houseboy Michael Flores.

Cherry Pie’s mother was stabbed dead inside her house in Sep 2014. Flores confessed to killing Sison a month later.

“Just to consider forgiving him is already a big step,” she said.

Cherry Pie said her two sisters had a hard time accepting the death of their mother. But the actress believes she cannot “sulk forever.”

“You see, it’s easy to talk to people about healing and forgiveness, but it’s different when it (the offense) actually happened to you,” she explained.

And it seems her path of healing and forgiveness is not just lip service.

Cherry Pie, according to the Inquirer report, is working on a book on the theme of forgiveness.

She was also supposed to work on a movie based on her experience with the late director Francis Xavier Pasion.
