Guess fans won’t be seeing Charlie Puth again this November.

Concert promoter Music Management International Live (MMI Live) announced today that the singer’s Voicenotes Tour in Manila, originally slated for Nov. 6, has been canceled due to “unforeseen circumstances.”

The American pop singer was supposed to perform at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

Ticket refunds will start tomorrow.

Those who purchased tickets in SM Department Stores, Eastwood City, and Lucky Chinatown must proceed to the Mall of Asia Arena Coral Ticket Booth to claim the refund, while those who bought them in SM Cinema outlets can go to the branch where they bought their tickets.

SM Tickets’ official Twitter page also issued the statement just minutes later, showing the same ticket refund guidelines.

Puth fans were heartbroken over the announcement.

Twitter page @PuthCrewPH shared a gif of Zooey Deschanel crying:

@iamsteph_22 wrote it would’ve been her first time to watch an international artist’s concert, “[A]nd then it got cancelled! wtf.”

One fan compared it to Justin Bieber canceling his concert in Manila last year.

“Just like what happened to [Justin] Bieber oh sh*t,” @chealseeaa13 wrote.

Some speculated that ticket sales might’ve been low.

Nathan Kang wondered: “Low ticket sales? But it’s too early.”

Dane Marie David asked: “If it’s low ticket sales, isn’t it too early? Or is it Charlie’s decision?”

James Marion Panganiban suggested moving the concert to a smaller venue.

“It’s probably because of the low ticket sales,” Panganiban shared. “Why not just move it to smaller venue?”

Puth is heading to Coconuts cities Bangkok, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Kuala Lumpur, as well as Asian capitals Seoul and Taipei in October and November for his Voicenotes Tour.

No other announcements have been made regarding the other dates on his tour as of this article’s posting.
