After coming out through an exclusive interview with Boy Abunda on “The Buzz” yesterday, June 2, singer Charice also tackled other issues such as her relationship with her mother, her career, and Alyssa Quijano.
Alyssa is a former “The X Factor Philippines” contestant — she was part of a vocal group called AKA JAM, while Charice was one of the judges of the show. More importantly, Alyssa has been romantically linked with Charice. In fact, there was even a rumor that the two eloped recently.
Charice clarified, “Hindi ko po alam ang sasabihin ko dyan. Umalis ako ng bahay pero alam ko, alam din naman ni mommy noon na darating sa point na yun. Umalis ako hindi dahil ayaw ko na doon. Umalis ako dahil iyon ang kailangan kong gawin.

Charice is now staying in Cabuyao, Laguna, living with people she never thought would catch a bullet for her. She said that over there and with those people, she can show her true self without people judging her.
So who is Alyssa in her life now? “She’s an inspiration,” she said. “She’s a very special person.”
And when asked if she loves Alyssa, Charice said, “Sana mabuksan nyo ang puso ko para makita nyo. Malakas ang tibok.”
