This is not a drill!
Chance the Rapper is coming to Asia for the first time ever. Filipino fans will be glad to know that he’ll be performing in Manila on August 22 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
The Grammy-award winner wrote in a tweet posted just hours ago: “I’m playing Asia for the first time y’all!”

Aside from Manila, the singer will also be performing in Osaka, Tokyo, and Singapore for the Asian leg of his tour this August.
Globe Telecom posted on its official Facebook page that it’ll have a special pre-sale of tickets on June 26 at 10am, while tickets will go on sale to the general public on June 27 at 10am.
The Same Drugs singer is the first streaming-only artist to win a Grammy. He’s the first male solo rap artist to win Best New Artist.
“This is for every indie artist who’s been doing this mixtape stuff for a long-a** time,” the singer said during the 59th Grammy Awards when he accepted the Grammy for Best Rap Album for the gospel-inspired hip-hop mixtape Coloring Book.
The Chicagoan also won Best Rap Performance for No Problem featuring Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz.
Here’s his Coloring Book Spotify playlist in the meantime. You’re welcome.
