A local university’s dance group had a brush with fame after legendary rock band Queen sang praises for a recent winning performance.

The band shared a video of the La Salle Dance Company (LSDC) – Street’s Queen-inspired dance routine and said it was “amazing” in an Instagram post on Tuesday.

“Watch this amazing Queen-themed routine by the La Salle Dance Company for their entry to the UAAP (University Athletic Association of the Philippines) Streetdance Competition,” the caption reads.

They also shared that they loved the “Ay-oh” bit in the routine.

“Incredible stuff,” the caption added.

The clip shows the Manila-based dance squad pulling off some cool moves to the guitar solos in the songs “Bohemian Rhapsody” and “Another One Bites the Dust.”

Queen also posted the full video of the performance on their Instagram bio.
