Heads up, tourists: Cebu Pacific is the latest airline to announce the return of its Siargao-bound flight by the end of the month.
Travelers bound for Siargao from Manila may soon hop on a Manila-Siargao flight from March 27 onwards, Cebu Pacific announced on social media.
The Manila-Siargao-Manila route will fly out three times daily.
Philippine Airlines also resumed its commercial flights between Manila and Siargao on Feb. 22.
Siargao authorities announced last month that they were reopening the island to tourists, two months after the devastation of typhoon Odette that ravaged residents’ homes and businesses and with recovery efforts still underway.
Amid the super typhoon’s aftermath, small businesses have gradually reopened and residents have begun rebuilding their homes.
