Cebu-based model and designer Lukresia earned raves and support from the local LGBTQ community and the creative industry after she walked the runway for French brand Mugler at Paris Fashion Week.
Lukresia, who goes by thirdworldbb online, made waves for strutting down the catwalk in a tasseled top and leather pants with zipped cutouts, wearing her hair in a sleek ponytail.
Before walking on the Paris runway, the model-designer has also previously collaborated with the brand, posing in a sheer black Mugler bodysuit and shot by Belgian photographer Arber Sefa.
Lukresia has not only made waves for her creative work, but for reclaiming the word bayot — a Visayan word that means gay but has been used as a pejorative term to label different members of the LGBTQ community. On Instagram, the artist calls herself “bayot boang” — boang meaning crazy in the Visayan language.
Keep slaying, queen!
