Juana Change, we hope you get to ride in one soon.

Cash Cab, the popular game show that takes place inside a taxi, is coming to Manila.

According to adobomagazine.com, “active TV Asia, an international production house based in Singapore, has secured the Philippines’ right to the Emmy Award winning Cash Cab format for a launch later this year.”

Cash Cab is a game show that originated from the UK and has so far been adapted to 40 countries around the world. It has unsuspecting taxi passengers ride an outfitted taxi, driven by the game show host. He asks the passenger a series of trivia and general knowledge questions in return for cash. The passenger has 15 seconds to answer before he can strike out.

Three strikes and they’re booted out of the cab and return everything they’ve won up to that point. In any case, the ride is free.

At this point, we’re still awaiting news on who the driver-host will be for the Manila edition.

We thought Oli Pettigrew did a good job in Singapore, if anybody’s asking our opinion.
