ICYMI, Carly Rae Jepsen performed to a packed crowd at the much-awaited return of the Wanderland Arts and Music Festival, where she headlined the fest alongside other international acts such as Phoenix, Dashboard Confessional, Raveena, and Balming Tiger, as well as homegrown artists such as Rico Blanco and Ylona Garcia.

The Canadian pop star also treated herself to other sights in Manila — including sampling the classic “dirty” ice cream, a street food staple, while touring the historic Intramuros.

“Finally back in the Philippines and it’s been the most fabulous trip! So much warmth and generosity from everyone we met. We went exploring the city’s historical sites plus had some of the best food we have ever eaten,” she wrote online.

Among the photos she posted was of her hanging out at an ice cream cart at Fort Santiago.

“Thank you Manila for welcoming us with open arms and to Wanderland,” she wrote in the post.

Carly stunned her Filipino fans as she performed on the first night of the festival with a two-hour setlist that featured hits such as Call Me Maybe, I Really Like You, and Cut to the Feeling.

Thousands of attendees attended the two-day Wanderland Festival from March 4 to 5 at the Filinvest City Event Grounds in Muntinlupa. It was the first time the festival had been staged after it was first canceled in 2020.
