Come to think of it, it’s kind of weird how GMA 7 actor Benjamin Alves has no girlfriend. Once rumored to be gay (every male actor gets that at one point), Benjamin has been linked to actress Jennylyn Mercado, singer Rachelle Ann Go, and beauty queens Janine Tugonon and Pia Wurtzbach (yes, our bet to the Miss U this year).
Why doesn’t he have a girlfriend? We don’t understand since he is handsome, sexy, and seems to be a nice guy.
In an interview with Rose Garcia of Pep.ph, he admits that he’s picky – that he’s pickier when it comes to women as opposed to work.
“It’s probably a blessing and a curse,” he said. “Kasi wala kang mahanap. Kasi wala, mahirap eh. But I’m telling you, mahirap.” However, he shares that he does go out on dates.
He’s kind of done dating women from show business, as well, explaining that it doesn’t work out.
It’s his birthday tomorrow, March 31. His birthday wish? “Magka-love life,” he says.
Boy, you need to be less picky then.
