In an Instagram post on Thu, Mar 10, the 45-year-old TV host-actress said she turned emotional after the final taping for her show.
She then explained that she will go offline for a few days “just to start getting used to the low-key life.”
A “low-key” Kris Aquino? We’ll believe it when it actually happens.
But her fans need not fret though, as she has hinted that she will be back.
In another post, describing her last day with her morning show, Aquino said: “I succeeded in not crying while doing my interview- because in my heart I know, I’ll see you again… Until then.”
And, in a statement sent to Coconuts Manila and other media outfits on Fri, Mar 11, ABS-CBN, via its Corporate Communications Head Kane Errol Choa, said the network and Aquino “have agreed to discuss future plans after she takes her much-needed break.”
“We respect and support Kris Aquino’s decision to take a break from showbusiness and prioritize her health and spend quality time with her kids,” the network also said.
Until then, indeed.
