Change has come for BB Gandanghari.
On Wed, Nov 16, the actor formerly known as Rustom Padilla revealed on Instagram that the Superior Court of California in the US has approved her petition to change her name and gender.

BB wrote: “This is it! And I thought this day would never come. And I thank my GOD and my LORD for making these things happen. Everything makes sense now… and to this great country the United States of America for providing this #basichumanright.”
So, yes — BB is now legally a woman.

She is now also legally named Binibining Gandanghari.
Last Aug, BB revealed she filed a petition to change her gender and name — years after she came out as a transwoman.
