Baron Geisler speaks up on PAMI sanction, apologizes to Ping Medina anew

Last week, Ping Medina formally filed a complaint to the Professional Artist Managers, Inc. (PAMI) against Baron Geisler for urinating on him while filming a scene for the movie Bubog.

Before the weekend, PAMI released a statement saying the managers guild is inhibiting its artists from working with Baron and Bubog director Arlyn dela Cruz.

And it seems Baron is accepting PAMI’s sanction.

In an interview with members of the press during an event for watch brand Technomarine on Sat, Dec 3, Baron acknowledged that a misundertanding indeed ensued between him and Ping.

He also said he understands if PAMI does not want its artists to work with him, adding that he will just have to move on from the incident.

“I’m willing to wait. Magpapaganda lang ako ng katawan,” Baron said. “Yun na lang, it’s hard to promise.”

However, Baron also said: “PAMI, I am sorry. If you do not want me to work with your co-actors or stars, I will understand.”

“But sana maging (unbiased) po sila, alamin kung ano talaga ang katotohanan.”

(But I hope they are unbiased, that they find out the truth.)

Nonetheless, he apologized to Ping and Arlyn anew, saying it’s a “big misunderstanding.”

“I think and I believe na magkakaayos din kami ni Ping eventually, at ni Ms. Arlyn,” he said.

(I think and I believe that Ping and I can mend fences eventually, and Ms. Arlyn.)

But Ping is not backing down on his earlier statement that Baron should be taught a lesson.

“(I expect) An industry wide blacklist. He needs to be taught a lesson. People have to stand up to say enough is enough,” Ping told GMA News Online in a statement.
