Baron Geisler apologizes to Ping Medina over urination incident

Is this enough to let the these two actors to mend fences?

Baron Geisler apologized to Ping Medina for urinating on him while filming a scene for their movie last week.

As you may recall, Ping took to social media on Mon, Nov 28 to reveal that Baron peed on him during filming for director Arlyn dela Cruz’s movie Bubog in Subic, Zambales on Sun.

In a lengthy Facebook post on Wed, Nov 30, Baron finally addressed the allegation directly in what he said is his “final message” about the issue, apologizing to Ping and those he has hurt over the incident.

He also thanked those who continue to support him.

“Para po sa mga aking nasaktan, Patawad po. Para po sa mga nagmamahal sa akin at patuloy na naniniwala, Maraming salamat po,” Baron wrote.

(For those who I have hurt, I am sorry. For those who who love me and continue to believe, thank you very much.)

But in the same Facebook post, Baron also expressed his disappointment with Arlyn.

According to Baron, he already begged off from doing Bubog after Arlyn decided to change the character he initially agreed to play. But after talking to the director in person, Baron decided to push through with the movie. He even promised to “work sober.”

But during the weekend of the filming, Baron admitted he got annoyed at the director over changes in filming schedules and long hours of waiting on the set.

He also admitted consuming beer before sleeping early Sun morning and again on set. But Baron claimed that wasn’t enough to render him drunk.

Baron decided to do something off-script during his scene with Ping as he believes it felt lacking. (“Nabitin ako sa gagawin,” he wrote.) He told Ping and Arlyn, though not in detail, that he had something in mind.

“Lumapit ako kay Ping upang sabhin na may gagawin ako sa kanya at sana wag siya magalit. Ganun din ang ginawa ko kay Direk. Sinabihan ko siya na may gagawin ako ngunit nagmamadali siya para matapos na kami hindi na niya nagawang tanungin kung ano itong gagawin ko at sinabe nalang niya na “Sige gawin mo nalang wag mo na sabihin sakin.”

(I approached Ping and told him I will do something to him and I hope he won’t get mad. I also told Direk that I will do something but she was in a hurry to finish the movie, she did not ask what I was gonna do and just told me, ‘Sure, just do it, no need to tell me.’)

Baron thought Ping wouldn’t mind his off-script plan since “alam ko na ready siya sa lahat ng mga eksena na mabibigat” (I thought he was ready for heavy scenes), praising him as one of the best actors in independent films.

But in the end of his Facebook post, Baron said: “Ganun pa man, alam ko na meron din akong pagkakamali kaya humihingi ako ng tawad kay Ping. Pare pasensya na.”

(However, I know I did something wrong so I am pologizing to Ping. Bro, I’m sorry.)

“Kung ano man ang mga sinabe mo sa media okay lang, at kung ano pa man ang sasabihin mo okay lang din. Alam ko na maayos din ang lahat, aantayin ko nalang yung araw na magiging maayos din ang lahat sa atin.”

(Whatever you told the media, it’s okay, and whatever you will say, it’s also fine. I know this can be fixed, I will just wait for the day that we can fix this.)
