Actress Erich Gonzales and Japanese-Brazilian model Daniel Matsunaga have broken up after being together for more than a year.
“We are not together anymore. It’s over. To be honest po, ayaw ko po sanang mag-detalye. I just want to move on. Hindi po kami nag-uusap. It’s not true that we are talking. Hindi po kami magkaibigan,” Erich said in an interview with ABS-CBN.

Rumors of the break up surfaced after Erich erased traces of their relationship on her Instagram feed. Earlier this month, Daniel revealed that they were “going through some personal things” as a couple.
Erich and Daniel got to know each other in Jan 2015 after working together in the ABS-CBN series “Two Wives.” They admitted that they were in a relationship around June 2015.
The 26-year-old actress, however, confirmed that there was no third party involved in the breakup.
“I think I just have to accept na may mga bagay po talagang we cannot control (there are things we cannot control). Life goes on,” she said. “I deleted the photos. I unfollowed them. I just want to help myself.”
Erich said that she’s not ready to be friends with her new ex-boyfriend. Sounds like their relationship had quite a messy end.
As of writing, Daniel hasn’t erased their couple photos on Instagram yet, but we won’t be surprised if they disappear soon. It’s all part of moving on, right?
