The teen actress, who is most famous for her roles in several GMA 7 shows like “First Time,” “Luna Blanca” and “Paroa,” has joined the bandwagon and is now officially a singer. Barbie is promoting “Meron Ba,” her first single from her soon-to-be-released album under MCA Music (Universal Music Philippines). The song happens, which is now out on iTunes, happens to be the theme song of GMA 7’s latest Korean show called “Big,” which airs weekdays at 5:50 p.m.
“I am so happy that finally, my first single is released,” Barbie said. “I also consider it a blessing that it was chosen to be the theme song for ‘Big’ which is such a big deal for a new singer like me. I am so excited for this album and expect it to be very Barbie: fun, bubbly and young.”
Watch out for Barbie’s first album coming out this April.
