Lee Min Ho in Manila

It’s undeniable how Pinoys love anything and everything Korean, from Koreanovelas to K-Pop – even kimchi.

So when clothing and lifestyle brand Bench announced that they signed up Korean superstar Lee Min Ho as their latest endorser (check the official photos here), a lot of Pinoys were overjoyed.

Imagine how happier (and more excited) a lot of people got when it was confirmed that Lee Min Ho, famous for his Goo Jun Pyo role in the drama “Boys Over Flowers,” was coming over for a visit.

A grand fan meeting called “Benchsetter Fun Meet: Lee Min Ho: was held last Nov. 16 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, attracting hordes of fans both local and international.

The day before the fan meet, Bench staged a press con with Lee Min Ho at the Makati Shangri-la Hotel, where he talked about how easy it was to partner with Bench (it’s a recognized brand internationally that he wanted to represent because his fans would love the items, too).

Lee Min Ho likes to combine neutrals with dark colors, and he goes for a clean and crisp look. This style icon also likes items that are casual and comfy. Despite these seemingly safe fashion choices, he actually likes to experiment, and this was evident when he tried on Bench jeans in various colors.

So what are his favorite items from the brand? He is a fan of the dark cardigans and trousers, and would suggest the fun colorful jeans for his fans.

Lee Min Ho happens to be Bench Fix’s ambassador, which is a match made in heaven since he is known for his memorable hairstyles (remember his curly-haired ‘do in “Boys Over Flowers”?). apart from the press con and the fan meet, he also visited Bench stores for a mall tour and an autograph signing session last Nov. 18 at SM North Edsa, Glorietta 5 and SM Mall of Asia.

Thank you, Bench, for bringing over this cutie!
