Last March 23, singer Karylle turned another year older and she celebrated it by participating in the 3rd “DZMM Takbo Para sa Karunungan.” An ambassador for the fun run, the Kapamilya star said that she’s honored to spend her special day by sharing her blessings with others. “I’m so inspired to help these children because although they were devastated by typhoons, they are still willing to study,” she said of DZMM’s 75 scholars, who were devastated by typhoons Ondoy, Sendong and the Habagat. These 75 scholars now have scholarships, thanks to the run. Held at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila and with over 3,000 runners participating, the run also attracted other celeb runners such as “Kuya” Kim Atienza, Winnie Cordero, and Matteo Guidicelli.
