There’s no better time for the iconic Jose Mari Chan to return with a new album than now, the holiday season. After all, he’s known for the Christmas anthem “Christmas in our Hearts.”
His latest album, “Going Home to Christmas,” is filled with catchy, easy-on-the-ears and easy-to-sing-along-to tunes. It boasts of various collaborations, too with some established names in the music industry: Gerard Salonga, Louie Ocampo, Home Flores and Ogie Alcasid.
And, just like with “Christmas in our Hearts,” he’s once again enlisting help from family – from four of his children, this time. It is for the song called “Christmas Moments,” which has got to be the best track in the album.
We’ll see if it – or any of the other songs in the album – can match or beat the success of “Christmas in our Hearts.”
