Okay, here we go again.
Heart Evangelista is once again not in good terms with her parents, and, yes, it’s because of her love life — again.
Heart has been going steady with Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero for some time now. The two seem to be happy with each other despite several issues like their age difference and how Chiz is still married and already has kids.
Last week, Heart’s parents — Cecille and Rey Ongpauco — held a press conference saying not-so-good things about Chiz (like he’s disrespectful and that he’s a drunkard), and asking for him to give up their daughter.
For the first time, Heart talked about the issue in an interview with the GMA 7 talk show “H.O.T. TV,” where she said that this is not the first time such a thing happened.
It can be recalled that Heart’s parents were also against her relationship with actor Jericho Rosales before.
Heart clarified that Chiz is a great guy and that he’s neither disrespectful nor an alcoholic, despite her parents’ claims.
And it looks like Heart is really fighting for her man. She said during the interview that she’s found The One. “Wag na nilang ilayo ang taong mahal ko. Masaya na ako and everybody deserves to be happy.”
