You know how these fashion mags try to beat one another by getting either the most in demand stars (Solenn Heussaff, Marian Rivera, etc.) or the most unexpected ones (Melai Cantiveros)? Well, Mega magazine has upped it a notch with their latest cover. They put two famous girls – not your usual girls, actually: Betty and Veronica. As in Betty Cooper and Veronica Lodge of Archie comics fame. To make it extra special, the American girls are wearing creations by Filipino designers Veejay Floresca and Cary Santiago. Brilliant.
Our only issue is that the February cover of Mega is actually a double cover, the other one featuring the gorgeous Ruffa Gutierrez. It would have been really groundbreaking if Mega chose to bravely release just the Betty-Veronica cover.
