Attention, theater actors! Resorts World Manila will be staging “Cinderella” very soon – and they need people.
Want to bag that lead role or be part of the ensemble? Go to the auditions at the Newport Performing Arts Theater on March 4 and 5, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., but go register first (from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.).
Here are the requirements and qualifications:
Cinderella
Should be 18 – 25 years old
Can perform “In My Own Little Corner”
For online auditions, deadline is March 10. Applicants may upload videos of them performing a song from Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “Cinderella” on YouTube, download an audition form and e-mail the link to the video and the completed form to cinderella@rwmanila.com. Should be female, at least 5-foot-4 in height, and between 18 to 25 years old. Those chosen in the online application will receive an e-mail and a phone call to schedule a live audition on March 13.
Prince Christopher
Should be 20 – 30 years old
Can perform “Do I Love You Because You’re Beautiful”
Fairy Godmother
Should be 35 – late 40s
Can perform the song “Impossible”
Stepmother
Should be 35 – late 40s
Can perform the song “A Lovely Night”
Stepsisters Joy and Grace
Should be 19 – 30 years old
Can perform the song “Stepsisters’ Lament”
Steward Lionel
Should be 25 – 40 years old
Can perform “Do I Love You Because You’re Beautiful”
