Derek has got to be one of the hottest male stars in local showbiz today. Not only is he fit and hot, he’s got a high-rating show on TV5, too, called “Kidlat,” where he plays a superhero called, well, Kidlat.
Last March 14, TV5 and the “Kidlat” team visited Kasiglahan Elementary School in Montalban and treated its 5,000 elementary students to some fun activities like games, “Kidlat”-watching, plus a story-telling session.
The lucky school also received computers, library kits, while the kids got goodie bags in form of backpacks. According to TV5, this is their way of giving back since “Kidlat” has been such a hit.
Well, we hope all the TV5 shows become a hit so we can have more of this!
