“Himig Handog,” the country’s premiere songwriting contest, is back! There are 12 finalists and their original compositions are included in a special compilation album called “Himig Handog: P-Pop Love Songs.” Released under Star Records, the CD features the competing entries that will be performed at the grand finals at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on Feb. 24. According to ABS-CBN News, there is also a digital album released via mymusicstore.com.ph. it can also be downloaded on iTunes and Amazon.
