Arnel Pineda gives back through foundation and talent competition

You have to give it to Arnel Pineda, the Journey lead vocalist, who is giving back through the Arnel Pineda Foundation, Inc., a joint project with Rene Walter of Sanre Entertainment. Benefiting mainly streetchildren, the foundation was established by the singer because of his humble beginnings.
 
Their first project is the Asian Music Camp, which aims to discover the best bands in Asia. All bands need to do is submit a video of them performing a cover song and an original song in English. Interested bands can submit from Jan. 1 to March 31 next year. the top 50 will be chosen, and then it will be trimmed down to 20, and then to 10. These 10 bands will compete in a live performance, and the top five will then be part of a reality show competition on TV.
