Kapamilya star Anne Curtis gave YES! Magazine an exclusive look inside her posh Makati condo. In the latest issue of what is arguably the best entertainment read in the country, Anne showed off her mix and match interiors, sharing how she got them right.
Anne, who used to live in a Victorian-inspired townhouse in Parañaque City, seemed to have gotten over plain and solid colors in her home. Now, she’s shifted to a more eclectic feel, experimenting with patterns, color palletes, and accents that reflect her character.
“Yung girly-girly na white picket fence pa sa dati kong bahay. I think it just comes with age and with this condo, I wanted to come home to a house that’s cozy, relaxed, laidback,” the 30-year-old singer-actress said on pep.ph. She’s now giving the ‘warm, lived-in look’ a try.
“Kasi when you look at other designers, mostly talagang pulido yung gawa. Mukhang showroom na yung dating. Hindi ganon ang gusto ko for my house,” she said.
Anne also toured the YES! crew to her favorite spots at home, including the master bedroom where she keeps a nude colored sketch of herself (done by no less than the National Artist for Visual Arts, BenCab).
Anne also told YES! about her laidback childhood in Australia, the challenges of starting out in showbiz, her relationship with boyfriend Erwan Heussaff and her newest passion-project: being a Unicef celebrity advocate for children.
