An Instagram user named @thealvitch posted on Instagram about an unpleasant experience when she auditioned for the Kalokalike segment of It’s Showtime!
 
She was referred to by a former contestant, Nicky Minaj, and when she got there, a certain DanJosh told her that they are no longer accepting trannies who look like Anne Curtis before they did that before and they no longer want to continue doing it because they’d end up being similar to the G.G.S.S. segment of competing show Eat Bulaga!
 
He even told the tranny that he can’t see Anne Curtis in her. Thealvitch said she understands and that she would just talk to her friend because she doesn’t need to join the contest anyway. She made sure she tagged people associated with the show such as Anne and Vice Ganda.
 
In fairness to Anne, she replied, saying that she will personally find out what happened and that she does see the resemblance. “I’m sorry for the hassle that you experienced and will get to the bottom of this. Sending you big kisses,” said Anne.
