Remember when we reported that Mikael Daez and Andrea Torres booked an acting job to be shot in Cambodia?
Well, the two Kapuso stars are flying to Phnom Penh in Cambodia tomorrow, April 17, 2015 to finally do it – a mini-TV series entitled Blood in Dispute. It is a co-production of GMA 7 and the Cambodia TV Network or CTN.
Mikael shared with Rommel Gonzales of Pep.ph that they were handpicked and that they didn’t have to go through an audition process for the job. The two had been there in the past, however, to promote their show Sana Ay Ikaw Na Nga, and they were surprised with the warm welcome of the locals there.
Bit going back to Blood in Dispute, it will be an action/drama/romance show to be directed by Canadian director Ken Simpson. Joining Mikael and Andrea are international actors Khat Vaihang, Maes Thorn Sreynai, and Tep Rindaro.
Local stars doing international projects is always exciting so we can’t wait to check this out.
