Andi Eigenmann is ‘moving forward’, says she has ‘nothing to explain’ after paternity issue

Andi Eigenmann took to social media to tell her over one million followers that she has “nothing to explain.” 

This, amid the controversy surrounding her daughter Ellie’s paternity that erupted last month.

In an Instagram post on Thu, Oct 6, the ABS-CBN actress wrote she does not need validation from anyone, “especially those who do not know my story — which is why I have nothing to explain.” 

Andi added she doesn’t mind being misunderstood since that is proof that she “actually stood for something in life.”

The statement can be seen aShe s Andi’s response to naysayers who criticized her for not remaining quiet about the paternity of her four-year-old daughter Ellie.

I have endured, I have been broken, I have known hardship, and I have lost myself. But here I stand, still moving forward, growing even stronger each day, guided by the constant blessings in my life. I guess this means I’ve been doing something right. I do not require validation from anyone, specially those who do not know my story– which is why I have nothing to explain. I don’t mind those who misunderstand me for they are proof that I have actually stood for something in life. I, just like any other human, will determine my own story, not anybody else. It can be remembered that Andi released a statement about the issue last week, saying she made a “conscious choice not to talk about the paternity of my daughter in order to protect the privacy of Ellie.”

She, did, however admit Ellie “knew who her father was.”

Jake Ejercito, whom Andi’s half-sister Max Eigenmann said is Ellie’s real father, also took to Instagram last week to post an emotional message which many presume to be for the four-year-old.

Maybe, like Andi, we should also move on from the issue and give Ellie her much-deserved privacy.
